Big news for ketchup lovers this week. Heinz Ketchup is going to be made in Canada again.
You might remember a few years ago when Heinz shut down their ketchup plant in Leamington, Ontario throwing hundreds of workers out of jobs.
Many people in protest and solidarity started buying French’s ketchup. Now Heinz is returning to ketchup making in Canada with the announcement of a new plant in Montreal.
So, how loyal to Heinz ketchup are you? Did you switch to French’s or stay with your favourite brand? And if you did switch, will you consider buying Heinz again?
(I don’t have a dog in this race, I buy No Name, Giant Value or Great Value ketchup – whatever is cheapest. Not a ketchup connoisseur.)
