Bath Towels – The Rule Of Three?

How often do you use and re-use a towel to dry yourself after taking a shower or bath?

Does it go straight to the laundry basket after one use?

Conventional wisdom and some scientific research suggests that after 3 or 4 uses the bacteria levels go up, so that would seem to be the perfect number of towel uses while keeping the laundry load down.

My thinking has always been – you’re squeaky clean after a bath or shower so you’re just mopping off the water.

Big assumption here, but I don’t think anyone changes their bed sheets daily, and that’s after you’ve been sleeping in them for six to eight hours nightly.

So why send a towel to be washed after one use?

What’s your towel rule?
