Keystone XL Pipeline Project Terminated

TC Energy and the Alberta government have officially terminated the Keystone XL pipeline project.

It comes five months after U.S. President Joe Biden cancelled the permit for the project in January.

The pipeline would have carried up to 830,000 barrels of crude oil daily from Alberta to Nebraska.

Alberta taxpayers will be on the hook for about $1.3 billion.
