Bayport Murder Case Pushed Back

Terry Johnson made his second appearance in court last week as his case surrounding the murder of Kenneth Savory continues.

Much like the first appearance on June 21 no major details of the case were discussed. The brief court hearing adjourned with proceedings being rescheduled for July 28.

Both the prosecution and defense want more time to review the case and the judge granted their request.

Johnson is being represented by Yarmouth-based lawyer Alexander Pink while the prosecution is being led by Crown Prosecutor Bryson McDonald.

Following the hearing, Johnson was taken back into custody by the province, where they say he will remain until his next court appearance at the very least.
