Chester Playhouse Fire Investigation Concludes

The investigation into what caused the Chester Playhouse fire has concluded.

According to spokesperson Krista Higdon, the province’s fire marshal’s office was unable to determine what caused the fire, but adds it’s not considered suspicious.

Then June 11th blaze caused significant damage to the historic theatre and additional damage to surrounding buildings.

At the time of the fire, the playhouse was in the final stages of a $1.3 million restoration project.
