A Bridgewater man is facing several charges related to Child Pornography and Drug Possession.
Bridgewater Police Service with help from the South Shore Street Crime Unit, RCMP Internet Child Exploitation Unit, RCMP Digital Forensic Services Unit, and the RCMP General Investigation Section, executed two search warrants for electronic devices at residences on north King Street on Thursday, August 5th.
According to a release from the Bridgewater Police, Brandon John Sarty has been charged with Possession of Child Pornography and Transmitting and Making Available Child Pornography.
Police say the victims are not believed to be local.
Sarty was also charged with possession of cocaine and methamphetamine.
Later the same day, Sarty appeared in Bridgewater Provincial Court and was released on conditions.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Bridgewater Police.
