Another major sporting event is on its way to Lunenburg County.
The mayors for the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg and the Town of Bridgewater are hosting an announcement Wednesday April 17 at 1pm at the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre.
Few details have been provided but the event is in partnership with Hockey Canada.
This area is no stranger to Hockey Canada events after hosting the World Sledge Hockey Challenge in 2016.
Lunenburg County was also home to the national women’s midget hockey championship, the Esso Cup, in 2018.
