The South Shore Atom ‘A’ Lumberjacks won the provincial title over the weekend in Truro at Hockey Nova Scotia’s Day of Champions.
The Lumberjacks beat the Truro Bearcats 4-2 in the final at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre.
Meanwhile, the other South Shore team to make it to the final wasn’t as fortunate.
The Midget ‘A’ Lumberjacks dropped a 6-2 contest to the Pictou County Crushers to take the silver medal.
