A Martins River man was killed in an ATV collision yesterday.
Lunenburg District RCMP responded to the accident at around 6:30 pm last night on Shingle Mill Road, Martins River.
When they arrived they found a 76-year-old man trapped under an ATV which appeared to have gone off the edge of the road.
EHS and local volunteer firefighters assisted, however the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one else was involved in the collision.
An RCMP Traffic Analyst is responding to help determine the events that led to the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
The RCMP expressed their condolences to the victim’s family.
