McConnery Rink Tied for Fourth At National Senior Curling Championship

Bridgewater’s Nancy McConnery and teammates Andrea Saulnier, Jill Alcoe-Holland and Margaret Cutcliffe split their games yesterday at the Canadian Senior Women’s Curling Championship.

The Nova Scotia representatives defeated British Columbia 5-4 in their early match before falling 6-5 to Alberta in the late draw.

The Bluenosers sit at 5 and 3 and in a tie for fourth place.

They play Saskatchewan and Northern Ontario today.
