A suspicious death in Chester Basin is being deemed a homicide. The body of a 57 year-old woman was found at a home on the Borgels Point Road on Friday morning. Police remained at the crime scene on Saturday collecting evidence towards their investigation. The woman’s name has not been released. Police say her body has been taken to Halifax for an autopsy that will be conducted this week. Anyone who may have noticed any suspicious or unusual activity in the Chester Basin area on Thursday afternoon or evening is being asked to contact police.
