A 50 year old man has been arrested following a pair of violent assaults in the Annapolis Valley. Police say a 41 year old woman has serious injuries after she was badly beat inside her home in Kentville. She needed to be transferred to hospital in Halifax for treatment. A 41 year old man – also at the home – suffered injuries but they were less serious. The incident happened around 10pm on Friday night. Mounties say charges will be laid in the near future.
