Nova Scotia Premier Stephen McNeil is concerned about sexist issues at the Dalhousie University.
Last fall, incidents of misogyny, sexism and homophobia surfaced after complaints about a Facebook page some students had set up.
A task force says similar issues exist campus-wide.
McNeil believes change is needed everywhere.
“The whole situation has been concerning with us. The issue of sexual violence, not only at Dal but really across the entire province, is a concern.”
The task force has 39 recommendations for change at Dalhousie.
The Liberals have rolled out a new sexual assault strategy to deal with similar issues across the province to help.
