4-H Nova Scotia

4-H Nova Scotia is Nova Scotia’s leading not-for-profit organization dedicated to youth development. It empowers young people across Nova Scotia through hands-on learning, leadership opportunities, and community involvement. Through local 4-H clubs, guided by leaders and volunteers, members participate in a wide range of projects, from livestock to life skills, and are given opportunities to gain practical skills such as public speaking and leadership, while contributing to their communities. Members truly embody the 4-H motto, “Learn To Do By Doing”.

Ben Holmes has lived on the South Shore of Nova Scotia for most of his life and has a deep passion for the culture and community of Nova Scotia and the Maritimes.
