Canada wins gold in men’s curling as part of 3 medal day at Winter Olympics

The Canadian men have won Olympic curling gold.

Brad Jacobs’ rink defeated Great Britain 9-6 in the championship match Saturday afternoon in Milan.

It’s Jacobs’ second Olympic gold, he also won in Sochi in 2014.

Earlier in the day, Rachel Homan and the women’s team won bronze, 10-7 over the United States.

Canada also picked up a silver medal today, Ivanie Blondin in the women’s mass start speed skating event.

The country now has 20 medals, five gold, six silver and nine bronze.
