With everything that has been happening for the past few weeks, it is nice to focus on something a lot of people have been waiting for. Spring 2020 is officially here! We welcome this new season with rain and double digit temperatures.
The best part is that as we practice social distancing, the great outdoors is the perfect place to do it. So if you are outside during the onset of spring, chances are you will hear birds. Some of you, like John Willes, will hear the bird call and be able to say the type, how old it is and what it ate for breakfast. But then there is the rest of us. I can pick out the sound of a crow or a seagull, and I know there is one that sounds like it is ordering fast food, aka the cheeseburger bird… which is actually the chickadee.
Well, for those of us that struggle, this should help. Here is a list of 50 different birds and the sound of each.
