Yesterday the announcement came that we all assumed we would hear about this summer, the Big Ex is cancelled for the first time since WWII.
Letter From The South Shore Exhibition
This will be the first year since CJHK (Country 100.7) has been on the air that we will not be broadcasting from a barn for a week on the grounds. This is also the first time in my lifetime that I will not be at the South Shore Exhibition as it has always been a regular part of our summer activities. I was looking forward to getting our little guy on the Merry-Go-Round, but now will have to wait for next year.
There are a lot of other great exhibitions and fairs that will not be happening in 2020, too many to try listing.

I am going to miss walking through the barns and seeing all the animals, the ox and horse pulls and the rodeo events (barrels and roping). What are you going to miss most with exhibitions and fairs cancelled this year?
