Is It Really Over? Please Wash Even After The Curve Flattens.

So happy to see that things seem to be settling down with CoVid-19 and it appears we have “flattened the curve”. Just in time to enjoy beach weather, I might add. So is that it? Two months spent distancing in a state of emergency and now will we soon carry on as if nothing ever happened? Well the professionals are not thinking this at all and are warning that we will see more from this pandemic in the fall.

Experts Are Saying We Should Brace For A 2nd Wave This Fall

I have to say that it does concern me when I see people that are still looking at what we have been dealing with as a hoax. Posting about how they will even go as far as to decline any vaccination that is created against this virus. As things start to get back to “normal” are people going to forget what we should have learned this spring and become complacent? I sure hope not, and I am not just talking about washing hands and covering coughs, although that is important. Here is a video of an experiment at a buffet that shows just how important it is to wash and sanitize! (Not in English, but the subtitles explain it)

COVID-19: The Dangers of “High-Touch Surfaces”

But I am also thinking about when we get back to our regular way of life, hopefully people never take for granted time with family and friends. I also hope people remember how much better the environment was over these past few months. Hopefully that will be remembered as vacation plans are made and reduced emissions from transportation will be front of mind, knowing what a difference it can make.
