BK’s Latest Ad Has A Youngster Yodeling About “Cow Farts”

Last night I was surprised to see Mason Ramsey singing from the hind end of a cow. He becomes the latest in a long list of country artists singing to sell burgers.

Can’t say I was really paying close attention to what the commercial was all about, but I heard “cow farts”, “Lemongrass“, and saw it was for Burger King. Well this morning I see the details and a lot of comments from a concerned agricultural world.

Burger King’s new ad is blowing up in the ag community — and not in a good way

The idea of the commercial is that this restaurant is using beef from animals that have been fed lemongrass to reduce their release of methane, which in turn will save the planet. I have my own comments around that idea. Mainly because the media stars that tell us how bad beef production is for the environment, think nothing of hopping on a jet to go wherever while they tell the world how bad beef production and consumption is for our climate.

Whatever your thoughts are on the state of the environment and how cattle affect it, here is the commercial showing how one fast food restaurant is changing the world. One Whopper at a time.
