Curlers will hurry hard to help support health-care in Lunenburg.
This is the 17th year for the Health Services Foundation of the South Shore’s Curl for a Cause.
The heritage bonspiel raises funds for Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital.
Funds raised through this year’s event will go to purchasing new equipment for the hospital’s Physiotherapy Department, including a shockwave therapy machine.
The event has raised more than $418,000 in 16 years.
Curl for a Cause will be held at the Lunenburg Curling Club from Friday until Sunday.
Donations can also be made by calling the Health Services Foundation at (902) 543-8065 or visiting their website.
