It’s true, a lot don’t really care about the Super Bowl. But then a lot more of us find something we enjoy enough to use this weekend’s game as an excuse to snack on a Sunday. I have to say the Super Bowl is one of the only football games I try to catch in its entirety. I also use it for an excuse to enjoy a beverage and explore some snacking. I have tried making things like homemade mozza sticks and deep fried pickles, but when those attempts fail classic’s like pizza and wings are a great go to.
Chicken wings would be the Valentine roses of the Super Bowl. Traditionally they increase in price around that one day in February. This year our southern neighbors might have to go without those tasty chicken niblets. I sure hope this situation doesn’t cross the border.

The other thing that is a focal point for the one day wannabe football fans is the halftime show. There have been some fantastic performances and some big controversies too. Last year’s show was blamed for keeping some out of heaven, then there were dancing sharks and of course the famed Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction just to name a few. This year we have Canadian sensation The Weekend planning to rip up the stage halfway through, so what can we expect?
