A Football Was Thrown Around, But There Were Commercials!!

T’was the night last night when many non football “fans” watch a game with a hidden agenda other than seeing Brady and the Buccaneers win 31-9.
Eating snacks, sometimes not knowing what is happening, these folks hope to catch interesting or funny commercials and of course the halftime show. I have to admit, this event didn’t have my undivided attention, but the announced guest list for the halftime show never showed. The Weekend did a good job but the element of surprise that generally goes along with the Pepsi Halftime Show was not there.
A County music star helped kick off the event with Eric Church singing the national anthem with Jazmine Sullivan.

Then when it came to commercials there was some country connection for sure. We got to see Chris Janson’s son in the Bass Pro ad. Then Dolly Parton re-wrote her classic song 9 to 5 so it could be used to promote a website creator.

I have to say one of my favorites was the cell phone add that explained how Blake and Gwen ended up dating.

Since most of us likely missed the fancy ads that the American audience saw last night, here are some of the best ads from this year’s Super Bowl.
