The Mars Rover is Roving – Yip Yip Yip, Uh Huh, Uh Huh (See The First Pictures Sent)

“Percy” ( the nickname for the Mars Rover) is on the martian surface of Mars and has already sent back pictures. Pretty exciting to watch and a bit freaky to think there may be, or might have been life on the dusty red planet and this mission could prove that. There is another side to this though. With all the problems on this planet, there is the conversation around why resources are being used for intergalactic travel and exploration.
Then of course there is all the junk that is left behind as we explore outside of our atmosphere. Just like we are realizing out of sight, out of mind doesn’t work with the ocean, space is the same way. Take a look:

The pictures of yesterday’s landing make me think that “I Dream of Jeannie” somehow knew this would happen. The landing yesterday, looked a lot like the intro to the old television show I remember my Mom watching. See for yourself…
