It’s HOT! Fans Will Cool The House IF Used Correctly

Here we are, day ?? of the heat wave. Seems like it’s been longer than just a few days as we prepare for another afternoon humidex of 38 and a heat warning in effect.
I am not a huge fan of extreme heat, but whenever I find myself starting to complain, I just think about British Columbia and it seems more bearable. Yesterday Lytton BC continued breaking the 1937 record for the hottest temperature recorded in Canada.

Now if you are getting through these hot days without an air conditioned house, is there anything you can do to cool things down? Simple answer is yes and fans are your friends, but you have to use them correctly.

If you are outside in this hot weather, you need to watch for signs of heat illness. Lots of water, shade when you can find it too helps a lot. Stay safe.
