Dealing With The Good Time Change – FALL BACK

Some would argue that this weekend is one of the most exciting of the year as it is the longest weekend of the year. The clocks FALL BACK an hour for most of the country, giving us an extra hour.
I remember back when I was DJing dances, it was always a joyous time when the decision was made that we had an extra hour to party. Others are excited to have that “extra hour” to sleep.
Some just hate the change to their routine and for those of you in that category, here are some ways to cope.

COPING WITH THE CLOCKS GOING BACK

Then of course there are those that might not understand completely what is happening with the time changing, like kids and pets. I know this advice is a bit late, but some experts recommend making the adjustment more gradual. So maybe starting to alter your regular routine tonight would help.

Clocks going back? What you really need to do

Remember, before you hit the sack Saturday night, adjust your clocks BACK ONE HOUR as the time officially goes back to Standard Time at 2am Sunday.

Time Change Canada in other years

Now, there are those that don’t change to Daylight Saving Time, so they don’t have to worry about altering their clocks. There is a lot of discussion around that topic each year as more places get away from switching to Daylight Saving Time. I have to say, after driving across Canada a few times, it would be nice if the whole country could agree on what to do, it gets confusing, haha.
For now, we return to Standard Time early Sunday morning. A good reminder to change your smoke detector batteries as well.
If you have friends or relatives in other parts of Canada, remember not everyone changes their clocks and life might get a bit confusing for some.
