I have been busy catching up on fall stuff, so have not really thought too much about it yet, but I would if I could. Talking with someone yesterday, she said she was getting the decorations up now so she didn’t have to freeze her fingers off doing it later. However, the lights would stay off for now.
The other side of things I have been seeing is that a lot of people already have their Christmas decorations up and on. I am always amazed that in a time where energy conservation is front of mind, we are seeing more and more lights earlier than ever. That said, I also don’t blame people for wanting to brighten things up early, it has been another stressful year for sure.

The other thing that seems to be happening this year, even more than normal, we are seeing a tonne of new Christmas music. No gonna lie, I have been doing some festive listening over the past week.
I have to share the video we discovered last night for the latest Christmas song from Carrie Underwood. Dylan shared some of the tune on ‘Nashville Bits and Bytes’ Monday morning and the video that goes along with it is just great. The tune also deals with something else that I feel will be more common since we can get together for family meals again this year, overindulging, haha.
