Here’s A Number We Love To See Growing All Thanks To YOU!

As we were moving the toys to the sanctuary yesterday for the CKBW/Country 100.7 Toy Drive, all I could think about was how far we have come from the first year. Over a decade ago we had a booth set up at the movie theatre and gathered toys for an afternoon. From that humble beginning, we have partnered with many great supporters to grow and grow.
This year I am proud to say, thanks to everyone that supported the toy drive in a year where the demand is very high, we have had our BEST YEAR EVER!!! It was so great to work with the South Shore Centre once again this year. Our newest partner for the event, Fresh Cuts Market, and a huge thanks to the businesses that have supported our toy drive the longest, Canadian Tire Bridgewater and Danny Carey’s Insurance.
If you would still like to donate to the CKBW/Country 100.7 Toy Drive, donations can be dropped off at Danny Carey’s Insurance The Cooperators on North St in Bridgewater this week. Toys, gift cards or cash, it all works for the Salvation Army to help make it a Merry Christmas for everyone this year.
That brings me to the best part of this blog. The pile of toys collected is more than impressive, but that’s not all. In previous years we always had an envelope to hand over with a few hundred dollars cash, but this year, WOW! The total cash donations collected to date $1462.15!!!!
THANK YOU!!!
