We talked about LED lights earlier and this year there are a few displays that have been messing with me while driving. The LED red and blue displays look like police lights from a far. I have a feeling that will result in slower travel in that area, haha.
Now if we look at the “rules” around outdoor illumination, the big one that is talked about is not having Christmas lights on before November 11th. The question I have wondered about for awhile now is about how long to leave lights on? I am not only talking about the date either. How late is it ok to leave your lights lit? Is it ok for them to be on all night or is that wasting power??
Well here are a few answers offered up. Apparently on no later than January 6th and there is no set rule about lights on all night.
