As summer rolls along, just after wrapping up Miracle Treat Day at Dairy Queen yesterday, we learn of another fundraiser to support the IWK Children’s Hospital in Halifax.
After holding alternative events for the past two years, the Log a Load for Kids ball tournament event is back. August 20 and 21 the Harmony Ball Field in Caledonia is the place to be!
Aside from the ball tournament there will be a BBQ, 50/50 draws and auctions all in support of a great cause.
I had the chance to chat with a couple of the committee members about the 17th Annual Log a Load for Kids. This could be a huge milestone year as they are hoping to surpass the $300,000.00 mark for total funds raised with Log a Load for Kids.
Plan to be there and help this great group reach their fundraising goal for the IWK, Aug 20-21, 2022 in Caledonia.
