Happy March! Let me tell you, we are lucky on the South Shore. The deliciousness from the sea that we experienced all last month with the Lobster Crawl has now been replaced by tasty burgers. All March, your task should you accept it, is to try the burger creations and try to pick a favourite. Not only will your taste buds thank you, but the folks that are helped by the Burg Classic will appreciate your support too.
The BURG Classic is an annual, volunteer-run local community-based recreation hockey tournament in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. The purpose and goal of the event is to raise funds to be donated within the community to individuals and causes who require it most. Each year, 100% of proceeds are returned to the local community.

The Battle of the Burger kicks off today and for the month whenever one of these special creations are sold, one dollar will be donated to the Burg Classic. That sounds like a tasty Win Win for sure! Let’s meet the contenders in this battle.
