A fire yesterday afternoon destroyed a mobile home in White Point.
Liverpool, North Queens and Greenfield firefighters arrived on scene at Christina Drive after 4:20 p.m to find a fully involved home on fire.
No one was home at the time and the fire was noticed by a neighbour.
The fire has been deemed accidental that is believed to have been started by a portable heater, according to Liverpool Fire Chief Stephen Parnell.
He says the homeowner lost a pet dog in the fire and will receive help from the Canadian Red Cross.
