Feeling like there’s no jobs available on the South Shore? One business leader in Queens County has set out to prove that’s not true.
Donna Hatt, Marketing Director at White Point Beach Resort, says she was shocked to realize they had more than 60 positions waiting to be filled.
She says that got her thinking many other businesses in the area are likely facing the same problem.
“The goal of the wanted poster is can we illustrate and highlight the sheer volume and diversity of the amazing jobs that are here.”
Hatt compiled all the positions into a “Most Wanted” poster listing the ones she was personally made aware of.
Some 180 positions were shared between only 14 businesses.
She says she wanted to show Lunenburg and Queens counties are a great place to live with lots of opportunity if you know where to look.
