Self Care – How You Can Treat Yourself While Staying At Home!

Right now, on both Twitter and Google….SELF CARE is trending.

With everything going on, it’s important we look after ourselves and do the “Little Things” while staying safe at home.

So what are some simple things that can help brighten your mood and make you feel better? CanadianLiving created a list of 19 things you can do to live your “Best and Healthiest Life”. Click HERE for the full list, but here is there top 5:

#5 – Have a Spa Day at home. Face masks anyone?

 

#4 – Be Creative. Get crafting, do a puzzle. Remember when Adult colouring books were a thing…time to go find it!

 

#3- Stay hydrated. It’s important to drink some water in between the glasses of wine ! Add some lemon or fruit to your water…so tasty

 

#2 – Treat yourself! Yes it’s important to try and stay active and eat healthy, but if you want a treat…have it!! You deserve it!! Local restaurants have great takeout… and well, online shopping is always a nice little treat too. (Be careful with this one…I’ve been treating myself a little too much lately )

And last but not least!

#1 – Wash away your worries with a nice Bath or Shower. Make it even more relaxing with a bath bomb, some salts, or aromatherapy shower scrub. Sometimes you just need to wash away that stress.
