Masks have been a hot topic for awhile now, especially when they were made mandatory in public indoor places. So far, I have seen most people wearing them. Of course, if people don’t…as of right now, not much is being done.
With that said…That’s not the case now in airports. Transport Canada issued an interim order on August 7 about requirements when it comes to air travel throughout the country because of COVID-19.
They have closed a loophole when it comes to mask wearing. They now want proof (medical certificate) that you actually have a Medical Reason to not wear a mask. If you don’t have proof, they can refuse to let you fly.
WestJet is one company that supports the order.
So long story short….if you can wear a mask…wear it. It’s safer for everyone!!!
