Everyone has Christmas traditions. We have a unique one here at Country 100.7/CKBW.
For 20+ years, the “Turnip Elf”, surprises the staff here at the station, with a turnip. (I must say…this years is especially impressive)”.
We never know what night exactly the Elf is going to show up, but at some point before Christmas, we arrive to work and we all have a lovely turnip waiting for us at our desks.
We don’t know why the Elf decided Turnip would be it’s gift, or why he decided to start doing this, but I can tell you it puts a smile on every single one of our faces when we receive our annual turnip.
So Thank you Turnip Elf. You’re the best!!!
