Winter Solstice in The Northern Hemisphere, And The Great Conjunction!! Tonight You Need To Look To The Sky. (Please Stop Rain…)

I’m not overly thrilled with the forecast tonight…Rain…but that’s not going to stop me from looking up tonight.

Tonight is Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere. What does that mean? It’s 2020’s longest night of the year.

But also, something else incredible is going to happen. The Great Conjunction!!!! (Sounds intense right).

Just after sunset tonight, Jupiter and Saturn will appear close together and actually look like a double planet. The last time this happened was almost 800 years ago.

People everywhere around the world will be able to see this, and it’ll last about an hour after sunset.

So let’s keep out fingers crossed that the sky’s clear up for a little bit tonight. I want to see The Great Conjunction!!
