I think I did a little jump for joy, when I turned on Netflix Jan 1st and “The Office” was still playing. My partner is watching it for the very first time (Jealous? Yeah me too), and we were only on Season 7. We still had 2 seasons to go.
We knew it was suppose to go off Netflix Jan 1st, so how pumped were we, when we realized it wasn’t.
So what’s the deal? It turns out, “The Office” will stay on Netflix Canada, it was just removed from the US Version. In the US it’s now going to be shown on NBC’s new streaming service, “Peacock”. Which is not available to Canadians.
So we may have lost “Friends” from Netflix (Now on Crave), but “The Office” is sticking around for awhile. Hallelujah!!
