It’s hard to believe that a month from today will by the 2021 Gift From The Heart Radiothon. We are getting excited here at the station and can’t wait to once again team up with the Health Services Foundation of the South Shore and help raise money for a much needed piece of equipment for the South Shore Regional Hospital.
So what are we raising money for this year?
We are hoping to raise enough money to fund a new Ophthalmic Microscope for the Operating Department at South Shore Regional Hospital.
This microscope is heavily used at South Shore Regional and is a key piece of equipment in every eye surgery. If you know someone who has had a cataract removed, they have benefited from this piece of equipment!
So when is the big event?
This year the Gift From The Heart Radiothon will be held on February 12th. Like most events, things will look a bit different this year. We are working through all the details before the big day, to make sure all Covid-19 protocols are being followed and everyone stays safe.
What time should I tune into Country 100.7?
All the time of course…but The Radiothon will air 6am-6pm on Feb 12th.
