Today is International Women’s Day!!!

This years theme is Choose To Challenge! Where you’re encouraged to challenge yourself to help create a gender equal world. You can challenge yourself to raise awareness against bias, celebrate women’s achievements, and more!

Here’s how to take part: ” You pick something that you will do to help challenge gender inequality, going forward (ie. “I will celebrate women’s achievements,” “I will challenge gender stereotypes and bias,” “I will listen to and believe women.”) We’ve created a sheet with the #ChooseToChallenge hashtag, the IWD logo and the Second Story logo. You can print it and write your pledge on the paper, then take a picture of yourself holding up the paper with your hand up and post it on social media for International Women’s Day. (Please tag us, we would love to re-share it on our accounts! We’re on Facebook @secstory and Instagram @secondstorywomenscentre)”
