I’ve noticed the last couple nights it was already looking like a full moon, but tonight is the official “Super Blood Flower Moon”. Sounds kinda intense right…lol
A Super Moon is when the moon is “ever-so-slightly” closer to Earth. So the Full moon appears even bigger and brighter than usual. This Flower Moon will be the biggest and brightest full Moon of this year.
Why is called the Flower Moon? I found the reasoning for it, in “The Old Farmer’s Almanac”:

There was actually a lunar eclipse along side tonight’s full moon, but it occurred early this morning. Needless to say…I missed it because I was sleeping. You can find out more about tonight’s Moon HERE!!
So make sure you look up tonight. It’s looking like decent weather to take in the Super Blood Flower Moon.
