It’s that time of the year again!! Great White’s are retuning to our waters and the first to grace us with her presence, is Helena.
Helena is an adult, female and when she was tagged in 2019 she was 12.5 feet in length and weighed in at just under 2,000 lbs.
She’s been visiting us in the summer for quite some time now, and over the winter she was hanging out in the Gulf of Mexico.
There are quite a few tagged Great White’s and thanks to OCEARCH you can see where they are!!
Helena is our first shark to make it to Nova Scotia for the season!
