Tips And Tricks For Making Tasty BBQ!!!

I’ve only ever tried to BBQ on my own once. I bought expensive steak and managed to burn it to a crisp. I’ve never really BBQed after that, but with summers getting hotter and hotter every year, I’d like to learn how to BBQ properly, so I don’t have to rely on other people.

Here’s some Tips and Tricks if you’re looking to improve your grilling, or if you are trying to learn:

– When Grilling, learn how to control the heat. Turns out, you don’t need to grill everything on full heat. (who knew…)

– Most people say charcoal tastes better, but propane is quicker.

Try to make sure all your meat is generally the same thickness so it all cooks consistently.

– Don’t over flip. Let the meat cook. You don’t need to flip it ever 5 seconds.

Make an indent in the center of burger patties with your thumb. It prevents the meat from puffing up (curling).

– Prep. Marinade is always a good idea. Especially if it’s a cheaper cut of meat. (Apparently yogurt marinades are amazing!!!)

– Check to make sure you have enough propane in the tank before you start grilling. If you don’t think you do, have a second one on hand.

– Don’t press your burgers so the juice run out. Don’t you want a juicy burger?

Undercook your meat and let it rest until it cooks through.

Make sure to preheat the grill.

Don’t lift the lid often or the heat will escape and nothing will cook right.

There you go. A few tips and tricks to consider the next time you turn on the BBQ. Have Fun!
