PINK may not be a “Country Artist”, but she has done many collaborations with them, including Keith Urban’s single “One Too Many”.
She is incredibly talented, and if you’ve ever watched any interviews with her, or documentaries, you’d know she’s incredible cool.
She’s all about being authentic, excepting and a powerful Bada$$ chick.
So, I’m not sure if you heard what happened with the Norwegian women’s beach handball team. They decided to wear spandex shorts when they competed instead of the league’s uniform Bikini bottoms. This resulted in them receiving a fine of $1,500 euros ($2,218 CAD) for violating the uniform rules.
PINK saw this and offered to pay for the ladies fine. She posted this to Twitter:
I’m VERY proud of the Norwegian female beach handball team FOR PROTESTING THE VERY SEXIST RULES ABOUT THEIR “uniform”. The European handball federation SHOULD BE FINED FOR SEXISM. Good on ya, ladies. I’ll be happy to pay your fines for you. Keep it up.

Pretty sad that this is even a uniform rule. What year is this again??
Thankfully we have artists and people like PINK that use their platforms for good….and hopefully it will encourage change!
