Lumberjacks series tied 2-2

The South Shore Lumberjacks and Capstone Colts are back to square one after a roller‑coaster playoff weekend.

Following three games in their divisional playoff series, the matchup is now tied 2–2, with both teams protecting home ice only once over the weekend.

The Jacks opened the stretch with a tough 9–1 loss at home Friday night, but answered back on Saturday with a 4–3 overtime win on the road. Momentum didn’t carry into Sunday, however, as the Colts handed the Lumberjacks a 6–2 defeat in front of the home crowd.

With the series knotted, play resumes Friday night in Shearwater.

Depending on that result, the Lumberjacks could return home Saturday either looking to punch their ticket to the next round or fighting to keep their playoff run alive in Game Six.
