Gmail will soon let you change your old cringy email address

It’s looking like gmail will soon let you change that old cringy email address you created when you were in junior high.

In The US Gmail has rolled out a new feature that allows you to change the primary address (aka the part before @gmail.com) without having to make a whole new account.

You’ll be able to change it once every 12 months, and your old email will not be deleted, it’ll just be attached to the new email.

No exact date on when we will be able to take advantage of this, but it is coming. They have started in the US with a gradual global rollout planned.
