Music fans are still “Choosin’ Texas”

From the first time I heard a snippet of this “instant classic” on our ‘Nashville Bits and Bytes’ I loved it. I thought this is something that will likely stick around for a bit, but I never imagined the level of success this tune has enjoyed.
Not only in the country music world, but for all genres, this song set a record on the Billboard Hot 100.
“Choosin’ Texas” solely claims the most weeks ever spent atop the Hot 100 for a song by a woman that also hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, one-upping Taylor Swift’s three-week Hot 100 reign with “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” in 2012. Find the story HERE

Just as this record is celebrating setting records, we finally get an official video for the project. Now this is not just any video, this is a mini movie, with a TV star, the songs co-writer country superstar, and a movie star’s daughter in a leading role.

Alongside Langley, the video features Yellowstone actor and singer/songwriter Luke Grimes, actress Ava Phillippe (daughter of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe), multiple CMA Award winner Miranda Lambert (who also co-wrote the song) and Oklahoma singer/songwriter Kaitlin Butts.
