Shark Cage Diving Returns to Nova Scotia

If you’re looking for something that really pushes the definition of a “summer experience,” this might be it.

Shark cage diving is officially back on the East Coast, with Atlantic Shark Expeditions opening bookings for 2026 off the coast of Sambro.

Tours are set to run from mid-June through early August, and they offer the chance to see some incredible marine life up close, including blue sharks, with the possibility of spotting mako, porbeagle, and even great white sharks.

But what makes this more than just an adrenaline rush is the purpose behind it. These trips also support ongoing shark research, helping scientists better understand and protect these often misunderstood animals.

So it’s not just about stepping outside your comfort zone, it’s about being part of something bigger while doing it.

It’s one of those rare experiences that blends adventure, education, and a story you’ll probably be telling for a long time after it’s over.
