People will soon be able to see expense claims for councillors and the mayor of the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg.
The municipality has agreed to start posting their expenses by April 1.
A policy is being created that will see monthly expenses posted to the MODL website.

Mayor Carolyn Bolivar-Getson says it will cost up to $800 to create.
“So, that’s not a lot of money to be transparent and showing people the expenses that are claimed by councillors and the mayor.”
Once the webpage is created, expenses dating back to January 1 will be available to view.
The policy will be available as well so people can understand what each councillor and the mayor are entitled to claim.
