Hurricanes Capture Bronze At Major Bantam Provincials

It was quite the weekend for the O’Regan’s Subaru Western Hurricanes.

The club won bronze at the major bantam provincial hockey championships in Berwick, defeating the Landworks Gulls 4-2.

Lawson Cook and Brendan Amiro each had a goal and an assist.

Konnor Benjamin and Justin Brown rounded out the Hurricanes scoring.

The team was also recognized with the Nova Scotia Major Bantam Hockey League’s Fair Play award.

Hurricanes goaltender Jeremy Robar was named the league and tournament top goaltender and a first team all-star.

Defenceman Ewan Keays also made the tournament’s first all-star team.
