Canadians fans will not agree with that title after last night, but not out of it yet!
It was a weekend of winners being announced at the ECMAs and then last night we had another musical celebration at the AMAs.
Let’s start in Sydney Cape Breton where this weekend the East Coast Music Awards were handed out. No surprise that everyone attending the 38th ECMAs said it was a great time of entertainment and fun. If you want to see it in person, you can make plans to catch the 2027 ECMAs in Moncton, New Brunswick next spring.

Then last night the 52nd American Music Awards were handed out at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
This event added a few more awards to Ella Langley’s collection for “Choosin’ Texas” and Morgan Wallen walked away with new hardware. While the most nominated Taylor Swift left the event empty-handed. Check out the full winners list:
